Last week was our busiest week to date for #TT_Thursday - 28 blog posts to read, comment on and share during half term is no mean feat, but I managed it (somehow)! My absolute favourite post from last week is definitely Goblin Child's Halloween post. The Twins looked absolutely amazing in their hand knitted Lion and Mouse costumes, knitted by their amazingly talented mama, Kirsty! It was their 1st birthday last week, too - Hope they had an amazing day!
Last week was half term and Halloween On Friday, Syd and I went off to buy her Halloween costume and goodies for the Trick-or-Treaters. First we headed to the Pound Shop to stock up on sweets and to buy a few Halloween nic-nacs to get the house looking a little spooky. Sydney picked up a Witch outfit and decided it was the one she wanted. She wasn't for letting go of that dress, so I reluctantly agreed and found her a matching bobble to go with it.
I'd had my eye on a Matalan costume for her, but Syd being Syd was steadfast in picking the see through purple dress. *sigh* Finally, we went over to Asda for more goodies and a couple of pumpkins, then headed home, and the Halloween madness began!
We carved a couple of pumpkins on Friday and then on Saturday, Syd wore her dress (which I convinced her needed a long sleeved tee and thick tights underneath as it was totally see through)! I stuck her hair up in my old huge Donut ring thing and put her new bobble (which was massive, and too big to use on Syd any other way) around the bun.
Considering her entire outfit cost just £2, I think she looked pretty cool. The dress did rip half way through the day, and it ended up in the bin once it was removed, but it did the job.
