Younique or Poonique

A while back, a couple of people on my Facebook friends list started selling Younique products. After seeing one too many photos of people with lashes which resembled barbed wire, I was never really a fan of the mascara. When the Mineral Touch foundation came out, I was curious; but not brave (or rich) enough to splash out £70 to try the Trio Set I wanted.

Luckily for me, I won a set in a raffle, and it arrived this week. I decided to make this first use video to share an honest, not on commission review of it. This is what happened…

Honestly… I was hoping it would be awful and I’d be able to tell people to save their money. Unfortunately (for my bank balance but not my face)… it was brilliant, and I have already bookmarked half a dozen more items I want to buy.

My only gripe with Younique is that you can’t just pop down to the shops to try it. You have to order, wait weeks and weeks for it to arrive, and then try it. Granted, you can return it for a full refund if you’re not happy, but it’s all a bit long winded in my opinion.

Have you tried Younique? What did you think?

Disclaimer: I do not work for Younique. I do not get commission or discount for sharing this review. I just wanted to share my honest opinion of it.
