Guest Posts / Disclosure
I feature occasional guest posts on my blog, and will always introduce the contributor before inserting their piece.
Some paid and affiliate links are included within my blog posts. I do not disclose within each individual post if there is a paid link, as I will only include them if they are relevant to the blog post itself.
What kind of data do I collect?
I collect the information you provide – your name and email address. You will be contacted (by email) if we need any other personal information. (For example if you win a competition).
How do I use your data?
I will use your email address to send you: Newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information I believe to be of interest or value to readers of my blog.
Do I share this data?
I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of readers and visitors to my website. In particular, I want you to know that: I will not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. I will not disclose it to any third party unless required to by law.
How can you stop me using your data?
You may unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time by contacting us via email and asking to be removed from the list. You can also click unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter.
What other information do I collect?
Your browser sends data whenever you visit our Site. This may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This data does not identify you personally, but rather provides me with information about how you use my services and engage with me.
In addition, I may use third party services such as Google Analytics. This allows me to collect, monitor and analyse this information to help me improve our Site and services for you.
What is a ‘cookie’ and do I collect them?
For almost any modern website to work properly, it needs to collect certain basic information on its users. To do this, a site will create files known as cookies – which are small text files – on its users’ computers. These cookies are designed to allow the website to recognise its users on subsequent visits, and are automatically generated.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to let you know when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Site.
