Oojamabobs Chewy Necklace
Find out what I thought of the Oojamabobs Chewy Necklace

- High Quality
- Hard Wearing
- Looks Good
- Good Value
Life as an Autism parent can be full-on. Sam's sensory needs are very intense. He is a biter. He needs to be chewing / biting on something constantly. He tends to prefer rubber items with some texture on them.
When I was approached by Abbi from Sensory Oojamabobs and asked to review one of her chewy necklaces, I was very excited. Sam loves Oreo Biscuits, so I chose him a biscuit themed chew, and a Batman Lanyard as we call him Batman...! When it arrived, I was very impressed with the quality...
The biscuit chew has a 50mm Diameter and is 11mm thick. It is really hard wearing and Sam has had a good chew on it. The lanyard was also great quality, unfortunately Sam refuses to wear it as a necklace. He will hold it and chew it, but he freaks out if it's round his neck.
I have tied it to his coat now so he can chomp on it while out and about. This has worked well. I threaded the lanyard through a button hole then fastened it. (I haven't managed to get a photo of this though).
With an RRP of £10.99, the Chewy Biscuit is good value for money. It feels like it's tough enough to withstand plenty of chewing, so should last well - as long as your child will wear a lanyard!
