My son loves bubbles, so when we were asked to review Gazillion Incredibubbles I knew he’d be more than happy to oblige. They have an RRP of £12.99 and are suitable for children aged 3 and over.
You get a large bottle of bubble mix, a bubble pan (with detached handle) and a bubble wand. It was really easy to unbox, and the handle fitted onto the bubble pan easily.
Once it was set up, I took it into the garden for a quick try. It worked really well and Sam loved watching the bubbles from the trampoline.
When the mixture got frothy, it was impossible to get decent bubbles, and it got a bit frustrating for Sam and also for me. I had to wash the set each time it looked like this so I could refill it and start again. This meant quite a lot of mixture was wasted, and it isn’t easy to find more of the Gazillion Incredibubble solution on its own.
A bit of googling soon lead me to find a good “at home” bubble recipe though – check out Steph’s two girls to see it!
We took the set to the park with us the following day, but it was too breezy and the bubbles just kept popping as soon as the wind hit the wand. I tried moving so the wind was blowing into the wand and away from the wand, but the bubbles just didn’t like the breezy conditions.
In the right location and in the right conditions, you can get some amazing bubbles (like those shown below). We did get a few in the garden that were close to the 10 foot claim on the packaging.
All told, the Gazillion Incredibubble set is great value and it’s brilliant fun in the right conditions. I’d definitely recommend it for some summer fun. I actually bought more as a birthday gift for one of the kids’ friends last week, and it was very well received there too.
This is not a sponsored post. I was sent the set to review but all words and opinions are my own.
