Given the current situation, I will be shipping a lot more Christmas gifts to the recipients this year. When I was browsing the web for potential ideas, I realised that I’d effectively be paying for shipping twice… Once to me then once to the recipient. More often than not, it’s cheaper to send the gift directly to the recipient and pay for gift wrapping. So I have decided to compile some pre-wrapped ship direct Christmas gift ideas for my readers.
Pre-Wrapped Ship Direct Christmas Gift Ideas
In the interest of full disclosure… Some of these pre-wrapped ship direct Christmas gift ideas are things I have been sent from lovely companies who offer a gift wrapping service. Others are items I have found (and ordered) myself, which I thought others may love. So without further ado… Let’s get stuck in!
Personalised Sweet Hampers From BuyaGift
When I saw this wicker basket personalised sweet hamper, I knew Syd would love it! She’s dairy intolerant, so most selection boxes are off the menu for her. So this is a great alternative! It arrived in a cardboard box, and inside, this is what I found!
When you open the box, the personalised label will make it obvious who the gift is for, and that it’s for Christmas. So there will be no accidental early opening. With an RRP of £39.99, this isn’t a cheap gift. But the packaging and contents are worth the money in my opinion.
When you open the wicker hamper, this is what awaits you…
You’ll find 20 individual packs of sweets, which makes it easier to avoid over eating in one sitting. I love that the nutritional information is printed on each packet, along with the contents, ingredients and use by date. Additionally, I love that the wicker basket secures nicely, and can be reused in many ways.
Ethical Undies from Y.O.U.
Y.O.U. stands for your own underwear, and the brand is all about giving. For each pair of Y.O.U. underwear you purchase, an additional 2 pairs are gifted to vulnerable women and children across Africa. I was recently gifted a pair of their boy shorts, and they arrived looking like this…
The little gift bag is so cute, and the fact they’ll happily pop in a gift note for you means these are a brilliant ship – direct Christmas gift. I can confirm they are super comfy, and wash well, too.
YOU Underwear also do thongs, bikini briefs, bralettes, men’s underwear and even face masks too. So there really is something for everyone. I love that this gift is truly making a difference to someone else’s life.
A Fun Online Class Or Workshop from ClassBento
I was recently invited to take part in a ClassBento Tea Tasting for mindfulness at home class. I received a box containing 7 different samples of black tea, plus 50 self – seal teabags. You also get a “Periodic Teable”, to help you understand the different types of tea, as well as a card outlining the “tea in mind” principles, which the class is all about.
The class costs £30, and you get £18 worth of tea, sent to you before your Zoom Class takes place. During the “lesson”, Erica (the teacher) explains about the different kinds of teas, and the best ways to brew and enjoy them.
It’s up to you whether you want your webcam on, so she can see you too, but that’s how I did the class. There were 3 other people in my Zoom class, and they were all lovely. Erica, the “teacher” was also lovely and I found the class both engaging and really informative. I’m a tea junkie, so this would be a brilliant gift for anyone else who enjoys a good cuppa.
There are loads of other classes available too though. From cocktail making classes to photography sessions. Alternatively, there’s jewellery or mosaic making sessions or even a DIY silversmithing for beginners class!
Personalised Jewellery From Engravers Guild of London
Personalised jewellery is always a great option, but Engravers Guild of London take it to the next level. This solid sterling silver birth stone necklace has an RRP of £29.99. It includes a Swarovski® birthstone crystal. I opted for a letter S for Syd, and her birth month of June for the stone…
The necklace arrived in a beautiful large, high quality white cardboard box. Inside this was the main necklace gift box (pictured above). This was sitting safely in colour co-ordinated tissue paper. The first thing you see when you open the box is the gift card (Shown open, above). This is high quality card with a well printed personalised message inside.
Underneath the gift card, you’ll find the necklace ring box itself. This is also high quality white cardboard. It has a pull out drawer style, and when you open the drawer, you’ll find the necklace sitting beautifully on a velvet cushion. The necklace and charms are beautiful, and the photo really doesn’t do this piece justice. I’d be thrilled to receive something like this for Christmas. There are lots of beautiful options available on their website.
Beautifully wrapped Jewellery from Harfi
Harfi’s business tag line is, “Beautiful, ethical handmade.” That is definitely what you get when you order from them. They offer a gift wrapping service, which includes a hand – written gift tag. How lovely is this packaging!
I opted for this adjustable Naira ring, because you don’t need to know the recipient’s ring size. With an RRP of £25, Harfi offers good value for money. This ring is gold plated, and the stone is a beautiful blue Topaz.
The ring is beautiful and I can see it being a real conversation starter. Additionally, the ring box is high quality cardboard, so it’s a great option for recipients who are ethically minded.
Personalised Plants & Candles From Hey Pots
When I first heard about Hey Pots, I was intrigued. Their idea is genius. Firstly, you choose a small concrete pot. Then you add the gift of your choice – either a plant or candle. Finally, you add the personalised message of your choice to the pot. Your gift is then sent via next day delivery to the recipient.
I opted for one with the message home sweet home on the pot. My plant was a little worse for wear when I opened it as I missed the delivery. So it was sat there for 3 days before I opened it. I’m hoping he will bounce back quickly though. You can choose from lots of different images for the front of the pot, then add your own personalised message to the back…
While Hey Pots don’t offer gift wrapping as such, the plant does come in a lovely cardboard box, surrounded by straw. So its a great option for a plant lover, or as an alternative to flowers. It costs £19.99 including delivery for each pot, so these are a good value gift choice.
