We were recently sent an In The Night Garden Ninky Nonk Musical Activity Train to review. These retail at £49.99 and measures around 78cm in length. It is suitable for children aged 12 months+ and comes with 3x AAA batteries included!
In The Night Garden isn’t a show my children watch all that often, (mostly because it drives me crazy), but they are familiar with it. Upon seeing the Ninky Nonk, both Sam (38m and Syd (26m) got really excited.
We’ve had it for around a month now, and it is played with every day. Rather than write what it does, I made this demo/ video review to show you the Ninky Nonk in action, and to share my thoughts on each part of the toy – enjoy!
To recap…. We love it! Sam and Syd play with the Ninky Nonk every day. The batteries have lasted amazingly well. It has been thrown, dropped and sat on without breaking. The Train is a fantastic toy for an In The Night Garden fan, as well as a great toy for kids and parents alike to explore.
The only faults I can find are that there isn’t a volume control… it is a bit loud at 5am! You can always switch the music carriage off though. The cars do detach from one another really easily too, which can be a bit frustrating for little people. (Though I am sure I’d be complaining if they were really hard to disconnect too)!
I’d definitely give it 5/5 and highly recommend it!
This is not a sponsored post – We were sent the item to review, but all words and opinions are my own.
