Today I am sharing twenty easy stocking filler ideas for teenage boys. In my experience, most teenagers want less “stuff” for Christmas, as they get older. Their pile looks smaller than their younger siblings’, and the parental guilt is real. I feel you. My own babies are 14 and 15 now, and their hauls were tiny last year compared to the decade before. My niece and nephew are 9 years apart, and my nephew’s pile used to look tiny compared to his very lucky little sister’s.
I’m fortunate that there are only 12 months between my kids, so their hauls are very similar, size-wise. This year I’ve had a few friends ask me for stocking filler ideas for their teenage boys, so I thought I’d share them here. To be clear, the following are ideas to help everyone – they aren’t necessarily items I am / have bought for my own family… (Nice try, kids)!
Stocking Filler Ideas for Teenage Boys
When I say stocking fillers for teens, the times I’m sharing don’t “HAVE” to go in a stocking… They make great wrap-up ideas for teenage boys too. Most of them cost under £50, so there’s something for all budgets. So without further ado, let’s get into the list!

Stocking Fillers For Boys Under £10
A Rubiks Cube is often a great option for stocking fillers for teens who are being encouraged to spend more time offline, as are fidget cubes – these are great for teens with anxiety or add in particular. If your teen is into football, how about new shin pads? They are often on offer for under £10, so are a great item to consider popping into their Christmas pile. Would it even be Christmas without a good old Lynx gift set?
I’d definitely recommend getting some of their favourite snacks in too. My teens have gone right off chocolate now there’s so much palm oil in there, so I’m going to get them some Werther’s Original Popcorn this year and a couple of Hotel Chocolat Christmas treats too.
£10-£25 Ideas for Stocking Fillers For Teenage Boy
If you’re looking to spend between £10-20 on stocking filler ideas for teenage boys, why not consider a new football for them to inevitably leave on the school bus…? (Or is it just my nephew who does that)?! If you’re not looking for sporty stocking fillers, how about socks? I personally love getting new socks for Christmas, and my son has appreciated the Nike socks he’s found in his stocking the past few years.
One thing most Teenage boys will need sooner or later is a decent razor. Whether they plan on learning to do a close shave or not, they’ll need to trim things at least. There’s loads of great deals on electric razors at the moment. I got this electric razor for my son, recently, and this Harry’s Razor wet shave kit looks great for teens who prefer a close shave.

My nephew loves Marvin’s Magic tricks, so I get him new ones at every opportunity too. They always contain clear instructions and the difficulty level is shown on the box, so you can get one to the recipient’s skill set. Something else I would definitely recommend is a set of screen protectors for their phone. My teen goes through these at an alarming rate, so I like to always have some on standby. Speaking of phones, this power bank with built-in cables is another amazing gift idea that’s under £20 – it’s perfect for teens who often run out of charge when out and about.
If your teen is at college or uni, and needs to carry their laptop between home and college/uni, they may appreciate this anti-theft laptop backpack, with built in usb charging point. It’s stylish, easy to use, and great value. (The aforementioned power bank needs to be purchased separately for the usb feature to work though).
£25+ Stocking Fillers for Teens
My ideas for £25+ stocking filler ideas are definitely items that most teens will appreciate. If they still enjoy Fortnite, how about a Fortnite gift card? They are available in £25, £40 or £75, on amazon. You can always opt for an e-gift card if you’re sending it to someone who’s not local, to save on shipping. If the teenage boy you’re shopping for likes to smell good, how about some nice aftershave? My daughter bought Hugo, Just Different for her boyfriend recently, so I’m presuming that’s a popular pick right now. It’s £24.50 for 75ml on Amazon at the time of writing.
A smart display charger is a must have, for any tech-loving teen. This Anker smart display charger lets you set a specific wattage to charge your device at. This is essential for items that are not compatible with standard fast chargers. For context, a PS5 DuoSense controller can only be safely charged on up to 15w, so if your teen is sticking it on charge by connecting it to their phone fast charger, it won’t last very long. Speaking of phone chargers… The Krafted Couch Sofa Charger is £39.99, and perfect for teens who are forever moaning they can’t find a charger, while hogging the sofa!

One thing I’d definitely recommend for teens who love to game is this wireless gaming headset. It’s priced at £42 at the time of writing, down from £69.99. For this price, its a great gift – and a brilliant investment. Trust me – you’ll be thanking me when you’re no longer listening to all their friends shouting at each other during Twixtmas.
Would it even be a MotherGeek gift guide without Lego featuring somewhere? I think not! Each recipient will have their own interests, and Lego definitely offers something for everyone these days, but this Marvel Dancing Groot Lego set is an amazing 1/3 off on Amazon at the time of writing. A great gift for any Guardians of the Galaxy fans out there.
