It’s no secret that I love gadgets, so when I was asked to host a Yoto Audio Player giveaway, I had to agree! In case you’ve not heard of Yoto, they are super cute audio players which offer stories, music, activities, radio stations and podcasts.

What is the Yoto Audio Player?

There are two different Yoto Audio Players – The standard Yoto Player, which has an RRP of £90, and the Yoto Mini, which has an RRP of £60. Your kids can insert Yoto cards into their player to play the audio of their choice. These include many familiar stories, for kids age 3-12. Yoto provides kids with an ad-free, screen-free listening experience, so it’s a great option when you’re trying to reduce screen-time.

Yoto Audio Players can be used by inserting one of the Yoto cards to begin playing that story / song. Alternatively, you can download the Yoto App and stream your purchases directly to the device, like a smart speaker.

How Does the Yoto App Work?

The app also allows you to get instant access to your new cards; change the nightlight colour on Yoto Player, record stories in your own voice, and more. The Yoto app puts you in control of your child’s bedtime experience, with tools to help create a calming bedtime routine. You can access a collection of Sleep Sounds, Yoto Sleep Radio, and there’s also a sleep training clock, to help your child learn when it’s time to get up for the day.

Record Your Own Stories

The Yoto App also gives you the option to record stories in your own voice. This is brilliant for parents who work late, and can’t read their child’s bedtime story every night. Your child can still be lulled to sleep by the voice they love the most. You can buy blank story cards to save your recordings to as well, so your child can play it back at any time.

Children’s Radio Via The Yoto App

The app also gives you access to Children’s radio stations from around the world. You can play stations like BBC Radio, Lullaby and Fun Kids Radio, among others. This makes for perfect background noise. If your child is used to having the TV on for background noise, this can be a great alternative, with less distractions.

What Ages is the Yoto Audio Player Suitable For?

Your little one’s Yoto Player will grow with them. For little ones, there are Yoto cards available featuring The Gruffalo, Encanto, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, and many more besides. For older kids, there’s collections like Percy Jackson, Mallory Towers, The Worst Witch, Marvel and many others too.
