Sam had his 12 week injections today.
Am I the only one who sits there feeling guilty as sin in the waiting room?
He was smiling away, oblivious to what was coming next…!
They kept us waiting over half an hour before calling us in – by which time he had fallen asleep!
I’d love to say he was really brave, but my poor guy cried real tears, bless him.
On the plus side: he didn’t cry for anywhere near as long this time.
He cried for a few minutes while I put his trousers back on, but then went to sleep.
He has been a bit sleepy today, but no other side affects worth noting & no calpol administered after the injections.
(He did have 2.5ml before the appointment as recommended by lots of mummies).
I am hoping he will sleep well tonight & be ok tomorrow… I am a
realist though, and expecting a grizzly baby at the very least.
In other news: you may remember me blogging a few weeks back asking whether to buy Sam a swing, a new bouncer or a Jumperoo?
My friend lent me her swing to see how he got on with it & after 3.5 weeks… he’s too heavy for it!
It won’t budge when he’s in it now!
So glad I saved my money & didn’t spend £50+ for 3 weeks’ use!
Now… if only i’d bought the Jumperoo when they were on offer.
Dang.
Here’s the patient just before bathtime tonight
