Welcome to week 30 of Trendy Tot Thursday (or #TT_Thursday on twitter / instagram). This Children’s fashion photo linky co-hosted by @ClearlyBex and myself.
If you haven’t taken part in #TT_Thursday before, I’d recommend reading this intro post to find out how it works. If you’ve joined in previously… You know what to do! You can read, comment and share your own post on the linky below.
Last week, we had some amazing outfits linked up. Bunny’s 4FunkyFlavours dress was beautiful! Check it out over on Faded Seaside Mama‘s last Trendy Tots post! Busby also looked gorgeous, riding a tractor while wearing the most beautiful tutu I’ve ever seen! Check her out in Make do and push‘s last #TT_Thursday post!
This week, I have been checking out some SS15 collections, and planning ahead what I want to buy the kids for the warmer weather. Syd usually spends much of the summer living in playsuits, so that was where my search began. These are a few of my favourites…
The Mothercare playsuit is available in sizes 18-24m to 7-8 years. It is also included in the 2 for £12 promotion. We had one similar to this last year and Syd practically lived in it. It was super comfy and pulled on and off in seconds, making for super quick nappy changes.
The Sainsburys one was featured in their fashion press release recently. It is a scrappy playsuit, and the blue denim jacket goes beautifully with it (This was £10). It looks perfect for a day in the park and the fact they pull on or off make it perfect for days at the seaside too.
The Next playsuit is more expensive than the others, but it is 100% cotton. This one is button up, so not as quick to get on and off. With that in mind, it’s probably not ideal for us, as we will still either be using nappies or potty training come the Summer.
I love playsuits as Syd will still look girlie, but she can play all she wants, without me constantly telling her to pull her skirt down. She has quite a big tummy, so denim or tailored items aren’t comfy on her – elasticated waistbands are what she is comfiest in. I may have to restrain myself though as I suspect potty training in dresses or skirts will be marginally easier than in playsuits…!!
