I am still alive

Greetings from MotherGeek HQ! I just wanted to check in and let you know that we are all still alive! Blogging has been almost none existent the past month. It is safe to say that life has been getting in the way!

November involved Hubby’s birthday, my birthday and our family trip to Center Parcs for “Winter Wonderland”. We had an amazing time. We did lots of festive things, including a festive horse and carriage ride on this guy!

I have also been busy viewing potential schools for Syd and trying to find one for Sam as well. In between all of that, I have been trying to do the Christmas shopping and trying to get my head around applying for a Free School to be opened. I have been sending LOTS of emails, I’ve had several meetings and am hoping we can make it happen!

We are 5 days in with our Elf on the Shelf shenanigans too – I’m going to do a round up post early next week to share Chippy’s adventures so far with you all. Syd is absolutely loving it though!!

On top of all of that, I am working on a new segment for my blog and YouTube channel as well…. Syd loves to watch those annoying YouTube videos of play doh eggs being opened to reveal plastic tat inside… It drives me crazy that she is so into those. So…. I have a super secret plan to wean her off them! Stay tuned for more info soon!!

My healthy eating has gone out of the window too. I am so busy atm that eating healthily isn’t happening for me. Hubby usually makes the kids’ breakfast while I’m getting dressed. So I don’t have any. Lunch time usually involves me doing nursery runs while hubby watches one child. So again… I don’t make myself anything. This has resulted in me eating anything and everything I can get my hands on which requires zero preparation. Chocolate has been 90% of my calorie intake this past week. This must change…. soon!

PHEW! So there you have it. Sorry for the radio silence. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog more frequently again soon.
