It’s no secret that I love our Coleman Valdes 4 Air Tent, which we were sent to review earlier this year. (Read the review here). The air tent has made it possible for me to take the kids camping on my own. Something I could never have done with my old, standard pole tent. So when I heard Coleman were now offering a year’s free camping and caravanning club membership with certain tents, I had to share.
How To Get Free Camping and Caravanning Club Membership
When you buy selected Coleman BlackOut tents, from selected retailers, you will get free Camping and Caravanning Club Membership worth £45. You can find full information here.
What Do You Get With Camping and Caravan Club Membership?
The first (and main) benefit to being a member is the fact you get access to over 1500-member exclusive sites. These are usually tucked away in secluded locations, and not packed. Additionally, you will receive a Monthly award-winning magazine. Members also get 30% off Club Site fees, while over 60’s get an additional 25% off. You will also get exclusive discounts with selected retailers, and attractions, offering 10 – 30% off. Finally, you can get discounted tailor-made insurance and breakdown cover.
Which Tents And Retailers Are Included?
The following Coleman tents qualify for this promotion… Valdes 6XL, Valdes 6, Valdes 4, MacKenzie BlackOut 6, MacKenzie BlackOut 4. The MacKenzie range uses traditional tent poles, while the Valdes are all air beam tents.
There are 27 different retailers included in this promotion, and you can view them all here. Out of all of the retailers who are involved, Winfields is my retailer of choice. Firstly because they have some amazing discounts. Additionally, you can get an extra 5% off your first order).
My Thoughts On Our Coleman Valdes 4 Tent
We’ve been camping twice in our Valdes 4 tent now, and I absolutely love it. I have managed to pitch it entirely independently, and take it down AND get it back into the bag! I could never master this with my old tent! My sister worked in an outdoor shop for 20 years, and she too was super impressed with our Valdes 4 tent. I couldn’t be happier with it. If you regularly have 3 or more adults in your party, you may want to consider the Valdes 6 as the bedrooms are a little snug, but that’s standard with all tents really.
Do let me know in the comments if you have this tent and what you think of it. Finally, why not check out more of my camping posts, here.
PS: I was not paid to write this post – I saw the deal and wanted to share.
