In the coming weeks, we will be looking at getting the Caped Crusaders into nursery. Initially, it’ll be for 1 full day a week, then we will increase this to 2 days a week if all goes to plan.

Given Sam’s communication and social difficulties, I want to make sure we choose the place where he will get the best support, stimulation and happiness. I am clueless when it comes to early years education, and have no friends or family in my area to recommend places to me, so I am (once again) asking my readers for help.

What things should we be looking for? What questions should we be asking? Do I need to view loads just to be sure? How literally should I take ofsted?
