Syd has been coming on leaps and bounds, recently. Her vocabulary is almost larger than her father’s already! Last week, she amazed me when she brought me the numbers 3 and 4 from one of her jigsaw puzzles. She passed me the number 3 & said “freeeeee” as she did so. Once I had finished praising her, she passed me the number 4 & said “fourrrr” at the same time! I was stunned!

I knew Syd could say the numbers 1-6, but I had no idea she recognised the written digits as well. I decided to see if it was a fluke, and laid all of the numbers 1-5 out. This is what happened next!

Syd is 18 months old in this video! I am definitely a proud mama this week!
