I was lucky enough to win some free tickets to the Manchester Baby Show this week.
So today, me, Batman & my friend Emma (who’s expecting twins in October) headed down there.
There were dozens of stands, selling everything from bunk cots to buggies, swimming lessons to starter kits.
There were a few freebies to be had too.
Including a 6×4 photo of your baby, Lansinoh products, a free mam self
sterilising bottle, dettol wipes, a free swimming lesson & a
reusable waterproof nappy.
There were loads of bargains as well- We spotted baby carrier car seats for £9 each (YES- you read that correctly)!
The main brands were out in force too – Cosatto, Fisher Price, MAM, Mothercare, M&S and more!
All were offering savings on the usual RRP’s.
There were lots of small boutique style stores too selling custom made items.
My favourite product was colourful, wooden letters which fitted together
jigsaw style to create your baby’s name. They had them as coat hooks,
or just ornaments. And at just £2 per letter, it was a bargain too!
(Sorry – I didn’t get a photo)!
There were competitions galore too – prizes included £1000 worth of Fisher Price products!
Overall, it was a good day out if you want to get lots of bargains ready for your little one’s arrival.
If (like for me) money is tight, then it’s probably not worth the £16
entry fee unless you are going to buy £160 worth to justify the ticket
Would I go again? Yes – with a free ticket or if I wanted to kit out a nursery at the lowest prices!
