I was recently sent a Totseat to review. Sam is 15 months old now, so it gets very stressful when he doesn’t have a highchair at meal times.

The Totseat fits most dining chairs and secures baby in place. It is suitable for babies aged 8 months and over. Sam is a big baby, but the Totseat held him in place securely. It has an elasticated drawstring at the top so you can tighten it onto slimmer chairs.

Totseat really has thought of everything…

There are holes at the top of the fabric to accommodate any notches on the tops of dining chairs.
You get a thick, “belt-like” piece to put onto chairs without lower back support so your baby has something to lean onto.
In the event of the chair being curved, there are elasticated strips and buttons to secure the totseat in place.
If the seat has a low back, you can shorten the length of the totseat fabric using buttons.
It is washable.
It has a storage bag, which you can EASILY get it into – unlike so many other products!

It was easy to assemble, and the instructions were very easy to follow.
Sam was comfy and happy enough to sit on the “big boy” seat.

I love that the Totseat packs away into a small bag, and can be popped into your changing bag or under the pram.
With an RRP of Ā£24.99, I highly recommend them. They are strong, and feel really durable. It feels very well made. The fact they are washable is also brilliant.

Totseats are perfect for taking on holiday too. They can just pop into your suitcase or hand luggage and take up much less space than a bumbo or highchair do if you want to leave something at “Grandma’s” for mealtimes.

A couple of tips:
Stick a tea towel or muslin down under your child if the seat has a fabric base – my Mum wasn’t too thrilled when her dining chair got coated in soup! (I got it off with carpet cleaner, but now I avoid the problem).
Make sure you thread the buckle through the loops at the TOP of the totseat (round the back of the chair). Prevention is better than cure!
If you drive, keep it in the boot then pop it into your pushchair’s basket when you need to – this way you’ll always have it to hand when you have an unplanned coffee or meal!

I give the Totseat 5/5 and highly recommend it. We will definitely be buying another for Sydney!

This is not a sponsored post. I was sent the Totseat to review, but all words and opinions are my own.
