Harry Potter

Sharing is Caring!

I had to dedicate my first book blog to “The boy who lived.”
I have read all 7 Harry Potter books at least 10 times each.

I’m not sure why I love them so much, but they have been a regular feature on my bedside table for many years now.
My best friend got me into Harry Potter – I watched the first 3 films
before I picked up any of the books, and as always….. the books are
FAR superior!!

I am not going to bore you with the plot or
spoilers, but I will say this: If you like adventure, excitement and
suspense: you have to give these books a go.

The first 2 books in the series are definitely aimed at younger readers, but from the 3rd book onwards, they get darker.
I read the fourth book (Goblet of Fire) before the film came out, so the story had turned darker by this point.

I must say, this is by far my favourite book of the 7.
Had I started from the beginning, I might not have read beyond the
first book as they were quite child orientated to start with.

I
guess the books grew with the readers though. The 12 year olds reading
book 1 when it was first published were 22 by the time the final book
was released.

My advice: If you haven’t read them yet: DO IT NOW!!
