Weight Watchers Back 2 Best Challenge

I have been chosen to feature in the Weight Watchers Back 2 Best challenge, along with several other Britmums Bloggers.

In the coming months, you’ll be able to follow our weight loss journeys, and see how we find the Pro Points plan. I will be following the plan online, and won’t be attending group meetings.

Until now, I have never considered losing weight with weight watchers, as I had visions of needing to carry books and points converting gizmo’s around to work out what I was eating. Weight Watchers have resolved this issue now though, by bringing out an iPhone app! They are also releasing an Android app shortly, too. Thus making pro points brilliant for people (like me) who are new to weight watchers, and always on the go.

I lost a lot of weight in 2009-2010, following a low fat diet and exercising daily. At the time, I had no kids so had plenty of free time. This time around, I have two babies, and little spare cash, so exercise will be limited to lots of walking (with the pushchair and the sling).

This time around, I am going to follow the Weight Watchers Pro Points plan, and I want to make it a lifelong commitment, not just a 12 month mission to get thin.

I will be weighing in every
Friday. I’ll be tweeting my results and blogging too. I also intend to
measure in once a month. I am starting my journey on Friday 28th
September – that gives me just over a week to familiarise myself with
the Pro Points system, stock up on food, and psyche myself up for the
challenge ahead.
