I was recently sent an Emma Jane Maternity and Nursing Bra 361 to review.
I am a size 40A or B usually – depending on the bra. I was advised these are very stretchy so to go for a 38.
They weren’t kidding! It is kind of like Opaque tights material, so stretches loads.
It is really comfortable to wear as it has no seems. It is perfect for those early days when your breasts are a bit tender.
of support though, so I can imagine if you are on the larger side, your chest might pull the bra down quite a bit. The band of the bra goes lower than a standard bra, so perhaps this would help prevent you spilling out if you are on the larger side? The straps feel comfortable, and are easy to adjust.
The front of each cup unclips to allow access for breasfeeding. The clip
can be fastened and unfastened one handed – a huge plus in my opinion! It has 4 hook fasteners on the back, so it will grow (and shrink) with you as your body shape chnges during breast feeding. The bra is made from 90% Polyamide 10% Elastane, and available in Black, White or Nude. I was very surprised to find I didn’t sweat at all when wearing it.
The RRP of the The Emma Jane Maternity and Nursing Bra 361 is £11.99 so it is very affordable.
I have had a lot of maternity bras, and this is by far the comfiest one I have worn to date. It is perfect for use at night, or when in the house. For me, it doesn’t give enough support or shape to wear it when out and about. That is probably more to do with my A cups than the bra, though. I look like I am wearing a crop top.
I give it 5/5 and will be ordering more.
This is not a sponsored post. I was sent the bra to review, but all words and opinions are my own.
