Bigjigs Play Patrol Mission 3

This month, we’ve been busy road testing 2 items for Bigjigs Toys. The first item I’d like to share with you is the Bigjigs Four Shape Sorter.

This retails at £8.99 and is suitable for children aged 12 months and over. The base is 15cm x 15cm. Sam and Syd have both really enjoyed playing with this item. It is really high quality and incredibly durable.

Sam and Syd have been busy sorting and matching the bright, wooden shapes into four piles. We have found it a brilliant tool in teaching them colours and shapes. The Shape Sorter helps to develop dexterity and co-ordination.

There aren’t many toys that Sam and Syd will play with together, but this is one of them! I asked them where the triangle was, and this happened!!

Rather than write down how much I love it, I made a video review so I could SHOW you why I am a huge fan of the Four Shape Sorter. Here it is…!!

Both Sam and Syd play with the shape sorter pretty much every day. Syd spends ages telling me what each shape is and the colour of the piece she is holding. I snapped this photo of her doing just that.

We were also sent the Transport Dominoes. These retail at £6.99 and are suitable for children aged 12 months and over. The set contains 28 Dominoes, and each one measures 4cm x 8cm. They come in a handy wooden box, so can be stored safely in between uses.

These are a great set for preschoolers. We have been playing with them for a couple of weeks now, and Syd still enjoys playing. The Dominoes are perfectly sized for little hands to pick up and place. Dominoes is a game I loved as a child. It really is a timeless game that will grow with your child over the years. The Transport Wooden Dominoes will help to develop dexterity,
matching skills and concentration.

I made this video review to show you exactly what you get and to share my thoughts…

As mentioned in the video, Syd and I have been playing with the set together. Here’s a snapshot of us playing last week…

The Top Secret Mission this month was for the kids to play with the toys and get their parents to share their thoughts…. I hope I have done that in this post! Until next month…!!
