On Tuesday night, Hubby and I were sat in the lounge, with the TV on. (A rare occurrence these days, as I’m usually asleep, and he’s usually working). We were both sat there waiting for the first episode of BBC 1’s new Drama – The A Word. It’s a new drama, following a family’s experiences as they deal with the youngest member being diagnosed with Autism.

My thoughts on Episode 1 of The A Word

Rather than spending ages recounting my thoughts and opinions, I made this video review…

I don’t want to give too much away, in case you haven’t seen it yet but… it’s well worth a watch! The actor who plays Joe (The young boy who gets diagnosed with Autism) is brilliant. He had me smiling, laughing and crying during his time on screen. The sex scene should have been left on the cutting room floor, in my opinion – it was completely unnecessary.

Did you watch The A Word? I’d love to know what you thought…
