I have suffered with headaches almost all of my life. Sometimes it can disappear for months at a time, then I am in agony for weeks. When I was contacted by Pranamat to do a Pranamat Eco Therapeutic Massage Mat review, I was very excited! The therapeutic massage mat has a unique design, which incorporates traditional massage principles. It claims to activate all areas of your body, stimulates the mind, and promotes spiritual growth. The Pranamat ECO focuses equally on causes and symptoms of body pain.
Pranamat Eco Therapeutic Massage Mat Review
The Pranamat Eco has an RRP of £90 and is available in 4 different colour options. We received the Natural and Lavender mat. It measures 73 x 45cm the cover is made from 100% natural linen, and it’s filled with 100% coconut fibres. The cover is removable for hand washing. While the lotus flowers are made from HIPS plastic, which is certified for use in surgical equipment.
From the above photo, the mat doesn’t look particularly unique. However, when you look closely, you can see how well made it is, and how sharp the Lotus flower massagers are.
There are 221 Lotus flower massagers on each mat, and each flower has 25 leaves. That’s up to 5525 points of contact when you are lying on the mat! I have never lay on a bed of nails, but I can imagine it is a similar feeling. The points of contact are really sharp, and moving on the mat can be a bit painful. Once you’re lay down, it is surprisingly comfortable though.
I was all set to give this item a less than positive review until I realised after reading other reviews that the first few minutes of uncomfortableness are part of the journey. Once I stuck with it enough to get through that, I realised what a great tool the Pranamat Eco is.
The mat definitely helps to reduce my stress levels. I have lay on it a few times while feeling tense. Once the first few minutes of uncomfortableness pass, I definitely become much calmer.
In case you’re not sure just how sharp the points are, here is my hand after 3 seconds of slightly leaning on the mat…
While the Pranamat is pricey, but if you are looking for a natural way to reduce headaches and relieve stress, it’s well worth a try.

This is not a sponsored post. I was sent the mat to review, but all words and opinions are my own.
