Today I’m sharing my honest review of the Bluetooth Aqua Speaker from Wicked Uncle, and also giving one away to one of my lucky readers!

What is the Bluetooth Aqua Speaker?
When Wicked Uncle reached out and asked me to review the He Aqua Speaker, I jumped at the chance. Aimed at those aged 10+ this speaker connects to your smartphone or tablet via bluetooth, or your Alexa via an AUX cable. When the Audio plays, the water jets within the speaker moves to the beat. The louder it plays, the higher the water sprays.
With an RRP of £29.99, the Bluetooth Aqua Speaker is a sound investment, or a great gift idea. Smooth and stylish, this bluetooth speaker boasts a futuristic bullet design. It’s built with seven powerful water jets that are audibly responsive to your music of choice.
How it Works
As your music plays, the light and water show moves in time with the beat. The speaker is 5 watts, and has a built in rechargeable battery, which provides around 4 hours of playback time. You can use the speaker while connected to power too. The speaker is compatible with most music playing devices, thanks to the AUX, Bluetooth and SD card options.
When the water moves to the groove, the light show is strangely hypnotic. If you buy multiple speakers, you can sync them to each other, and position them around the room for a surround-sound experience. You have the option to use the speaker with and without the light option, too.
My Thoughts
I love the HE Aqua Speaker as an addition to a child’s bedroom or a sensory room. The overall effect is mesmerising. The option to use it cordlessly means it’ll also be a brilliant option for using outdoors on summer nights. (I’ve put mine away for this exact purpose).
The speaker quality is ok for the price, but it’s not a match for any of my Alexas. I wish I could use the light show from this device and the audio from my Alexa. That said, I think it’ll come into its own in the summer, sat on the garden table, as we toast marshmallows after dark.
