Recently, I was a little bit excited when I opened my emails and discovered one from Alex Winters – The Cbeebies presenter. Batman lurves Cbeebies, so I have seen Alex’s face quite a lot these past 21 Months. The email went into great detail about Little Fun Fest – Kids’ festivals which are taking place across the UK this year.
The first one is in our neck of the woods on Good Friday and Easter Saturday (5th and 6th April 2013) at Red House Farm Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
The event has taken into account the unpredictable weather conditions, and will have a huge Big Top circus tent to keep everyone dry under – should it rain.
Along with Alex Winters, Mr Bloom will also be on stage. Children are encouraged to dress up as Witches and Wizards, as Harry Potter and Hagrid will be on stage, too. There will be party tunes playing, thanks to Dene Michael (Black Lace). He will be playing out all of the cheesy classics, including The Music Man (Batman’s favourite), Agadoo, The conga and of course SUPERMAN!
There will also be plenty of activities, including a barrel train ride, digging for precious stones in the gem mine; bouncy castle; balloon
typhoon; trampolines, and a big inflatable slide. The Fairy academy wil teach any wannabe fairies the tricks of the trade, Professor McGonagall will be giving broom flying demonstrations, and you can learn circus skills from Danny Collins. These activities are all covered by the ticket price.
Tickets can be purchased HERE. If you buy yours before the 15th of March, you can save 10% on the total cost if you use one of these discount codes: MBLOGFRIDAY and MBLOGSATURDAY
We are definitely going to rock up for a nosey around. I just hope that Mr Bloom brings the veggies with him. I’m not sure who will be more upset if Joan isn’t there… Me or Sam!
There will be plenty of facilities on site to buy food, drinks and souvenirs, so cash will probably be required.
It sounds like a fun day out for under 10’s, but I will review our experience in full afterwards too.
This is not a sponsored post. We will be provided with a family ticket so we can review the event in due course.
