One thing I am excited about for my new house is being able to create a random mug collection. The kids Dad is more of a matchy matchy kind of person, whereas I am definitely more of a mis-match kind of girl. When I heard about Printful’s make your own mug service, I was beyond excited. The service they offer is great for making gifts, or even designing cups to sell online.

Design And Make Your Own Mug

I’m a big fan of quirky mugs, so the thought of designing and making my own is pretty exciting. I did consider getting the kids drawings put onto cups a few Christmases ago for the grandparents… Perhaps I’ll have to revisit that idea….?

Ideas For Personalised Mugs

I’m a big fan of inspirational quotes, so I think putting some of my favourite words onto a mug could be a fantastic gift for friends or relatives. I’d love a cup which said, “Today is a gift, that’s why we call it the present”.

Alternatively, being from Manchester, the Manchester Bee on a cup would be very much welcome too. Maybe with a tag line saying something like, “Manchester: We do things differently here”.

Size Matters

I am a massive tea drinker, so the 15oz mug Printful offer would be perfect for me. Alternatively, there is a standard 11oz size mug available too. You can choose from a standard white mug or a black, colour changing mug to have your design printed onto.

Festive Cheer

When it comes to creating personalised gifts for others, I love to get stuck in. Previously, I have made personalised baubles, candles, snow globes and Christmas cards for friends and relatives. So I am sure that a personalised mug would go down a treat. I’m a big fan of Christmas jokes, so maybe I could put lots of the worst Christmas Cracker jokes onto an image and have that created.

Gifts That Keep On Giving

If anyone reading this is ever unsure what to buy me, you can’t go wrong with a quirky cup or chocolate… Or both if you want extra brownie points! Why not really push the boat out and pop some individual hot chocolate sachets and some marshmallows into the mug before you wrap it up – So there’s double the surprises for the recipient!

Finally, if this make your own mug this Christmas blog post has been useful, why not check out more of my gift guides here.
