Today I’n sharing my honest Collins Academic Elite Diary review. It is no secret that I am a stationery junkie. Back in my school days, I had TWO pencil cases… one for “good stuff” and another which I left on my desk for people to borrow…!! So when the guys over at Collins Debden asked me to review one of their Collins Academic Elite mid year diaries, I was more than a little excited. After browsing their website, I opted for the Floral Academic Elite Mid-Year Diary.

Collins Academic Elite Mid-Year Diary Review
The diary features luxury padded faux leather printed covers and a removable personal directory. Additionally, there’s a current and forward year planner. You’ll also find travel information, a pen holder and finally, a ribbon marker. It measures 16.8 x 10.4 x 1.6 cm and the spiral bound diary insert slides out. So it can be replaced with the 2016-2017 insert when the time comes.
With an RRP of £10.50, the diary is a brilliant buy for students, teachers and parents looking to keep themselves organised throughout the academic year. It runs from 1st July to 31st July.
My Thoughts
The quality of the Collins Academic Elite mid-year diary cover is great. It’s faux leather and soft to touch. I love the fact it’s easy to find in my bag as it’s so bright. (My Black one hides in the shadows and I usually spend longer searching for it than I do using it).
My only niggle with this diary is that is doesn’t have anything in place to keep it closed. On the website image, the other colour versions of this diary appear to have a flap which prevents it from opening. This is not the case with the Elite version.
All told, I really like the diary. It’s good value for money and I give it 4/5. It’s perfect if you don’t mind the fact it doesn’t close securely.
