I was recently sent a Messy Me Messy Mat to review.
The mat has an RRP of £23.99. It measures 90 x 120cm and is made from hard wearing oilcloth.
The Messy Mat is perfect for popping down underneath the highchair at meal times, or for messy play.
I personally find it easier to just clean our laminate floor after meals, but I use the Messy Mat if we are having a picnic in the play room (which has carpet). We haven’t really had the weather since I got the mat, but I am pretty sure it will be great to use in the garden, too.
The Messy Mat folds up small, so can easily be taken with you if you are visiting relatives with carpet or expensive rugs(!)
It is wipe clean – including the hems! The Messy Mat can be machine washed too – at 30 degrees, but this is best reserved for when absolutely necessary to prolong the lifespan of your mat.
All told, I like the Messy Mat, but it isn’t something we use daily. If you have your highchair in a carpeted room, then it’ll be a lifesaver, without a doubt. If you have a floor which is easily cleaned, it’s probably not going to be something you’ll benefit from massively.
I give the Messy Mat 3/5. It is great quality, functional and looks good, but the RRP is a little high in my opinion.
This is not a sponsored post. I was sent the Messy Mat to review, but all words and opinions are my own.
