Yesterday, we hosted a #LeapTVParty – In case you missed my tweets and instagram videos, I’ll explain briefly what the day involved! We were sent the new Leapfrog LeapTV Console to review. We were also sent lots of party goodies to allow us to invite some friends round and share the fun.
I’ll blog about the party shenanigans later this week once I’ve had time to edit the photos and videos. In the meantime though… here’s the unboxing video I made on Friday night…
LeapTV retails at £120, and the physical games are currently retailing between £20 – £25, though I hope there will be some cheaper downloads available from the app store. The console is aimed at children aged from 3-8 years old, and it can be used
in 3 ways… It has a motion deterting camera (like Kinect), a
traditional controller, and a wand style controller (like Wii). All of
the games are educational, and you can purchase game cartridges, or
download straight from the LeapFrog app store to your console. I’ll go into more detail when I review the LeapTV later this week, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
