Last week, we opened a package which smelt almost as good as it looked. You’d be mistaken for assuming it contained cake or chocolate, as those are my usual vices. The package actually contained some of the Series 2 Num Noms.

Num Noms Series 2

Rather than spending ages explaining what Num Noms are, I made this unboxing and demo video so you can see for yourself…

Num noms are suitable for children aged 3+ and are available to buy from July 2016. The Freezie pops set has an RRP of £9, while the pots are £3 each. Each Num Nom smells strongly, and you can stack them to create cook cocktails of “flavours”.

The idea is that you pick a container, add a Nom, choose a num to put on top and create your own crazy flavour combinations. The Num Noms website has a cool recipe making area to help you create some interesting flavours.

The pots contain either one lip gloss or one stamper.

Num Noms Series 2 Stamper

As the video showed, the stamper wipes off close, and comes off skin with a little soap and water. Syd (my 4 year old) loved playing with this. She did end up looking a bit green, though and the lid is tricky to get back on correctly.

The Lip Gloss was definitely Sydney’s favourite item Num Noms item we received. She’s been carrying it around for days now, and asking everyone she sees if they’d like to try some.

Num Noms Series 2 Lip Gloss

My 5 year old son has Autism and he really likes chewing the num noms. This means I can’t let Syd play with them unsupervised just in case he gets hold of them. With that in mind, I’d advise against leaving them lying around if there are small children or curious kids who still like to taste things they shouldn’t in the area.

The moving Num Nom is great fun.

The video shows it in action far better than any photo can, so do check it out if you haven’t already.

Num Noms Series 2 Group Shot

All told, the Num Noms are great fun. The starter set is good value, and the pots are a great idea for pocket money treats. At £3 each, they’d be an occasional treat in our house, though – not a daily occurrence.

This is not a sponsored post. We received the items for the purpose of this review. All words and opinions are my own.
